Our second key area focuses on increasing campus equity & accessibility. From eliminating the international student tax burden, to simplifying funding policies, to ensuring religious needs are equally met, we’ll build on our experience fighting for a Princeton where everyone feels they belong - no matter their background.
Equity and Accessibility
Eliminate the disproportionate tax burden facing international students by having Princeton give grants for international students from countries without a tax treaty

Advocate for the coverage of disproportionate costs facing students, like ambulance costs through the Student Health Plan

Connect students 1 on 1 to the Center for Career Advising as part of the Freshman Orientation experience

Streamline the process of applying for and receiving emergency funding, by shifting to a upfront model instead of a reimbursement model

Advocate for more vegan, vegetarian, and religiously inclusive options at Late Meal and other dining spaces

Advocate for the increased allocation of money to funds like the Special Needs Fund to help students who have multiple health emergencies over an academic year.

Work with EBCAO to better advertise the availability FGLI resources for students who identify as FGLI but who may not be pre-selected for SIFP through avenues such as residential college listservs, etc.

Continue building existing relationships with donors to expand club options and alleviate club selectivity.
